Yeah i saw it yesterday, there isn't much of a story, but the 360 degrees slow motion heads being cut off was definately worth the money.

Seriously though, cool movie.

They're Spartans. They don't need armor.

That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

Love it how they try to portray the spartans as noble warriors fighting for freedom when other than vs the persians they were the brutal agressors ruling most of southern greece with an iron grip. Like they show in the start of the movie they were a warrior society ^^ Also metal music in the fighting scenes xD? Really doesnt help the setting.. but I guess as a fictious movie based on a comicbook it was good. Great CG etc =P

Gonna watch this now to compensate xD Stalker.1979.CD1.DVDivX-SChiZO.avi

At first i was like, aren't you guys supposed to wear armor or sth ?

But yeah they're pretty nifty with those oversized shields.

Actually, those shields aren't particularly oversized. And due to the lessened mobility of wearing heavy armour, greek hoplites didn't wear too much of it.

Yeah, they have a cool formation involving thrusting and pushing with their shields
