XformZ have made a couple of nice VGM metal covers. Don't remember their site tho.

One of the best VGM metal songs I've heard is made by a Finnish band called Epiclore. It's a medley of Doom music. http://epiclore.net/gutr/EPICLORE-Grace_Upon_The_Realm_(demo_2002)-08-KneeDeep_in_Doom_(bonus_track).mp3

Shit, new favorite! :o Love to this one.

Powerglove!

www.myspace.com/vgmetal

They did a cover of the Tetris song, and the Power Rangers theme.  ;D They also had Mute City on there before.

And that Ashane guy has my instant praise. So many memories with Mystic Quest.

They're not popular enough to illegally download yet.

Ashane - Zealous Entropy is absolutely beautiful. I'm almost crying from it.
Pathetic, I know. xD but no, seriously...

It's amazing.

Nobody's mentioned Ailsean's stuff? I especially like Dragon Dreams. Also, there's BrainCells (who unfortunately had most of his stuff on vgmix.com) and CarboHydroM.

Beautiful, yes, and there are more beautiful vg remixes, in my opinion, beautiful in both the same way and in other ways. Take for example Terra in Black, Arkangel, Marcapada, Northern Promise, Ascension to Cosmo Canyon, Above and Beyond, Back to Towne, La Ballade de Cayenne, and perhaps one the bittersweetest VG remixes I know of; Dreaming by Your Side.
