I totally forgot Mythbusters and Rome. First one I've watched every time I can but since there's no continuum it does not bother to miss episode or two. Quality entertainment still every time there's time and opportunity.

And Rome... One of these days I'm going to kill that Handan. With Big Axe. Cost much and works randomly. Much like marriage. Anyways, about Rome... I'm going to buy that one too on DVD-box when I have money for this hobby, probably at summer or autumn. Sigh.

I never get tired of Mythbusters. Jamie and Adam are the perfect duo to host a show. I got quite a few episodes left to see so I put them on the phone (Nokia N73) and bring to work. And FLCL is pure insanity, that show and Puni Puni Poemi, might even be more weird then FLCL. There's not much more shows I watch after that. I really don't like TV that much thesedays, everything is just to much for me. Discovery and the shows there are the only things I really stick to. Other favs I have is Jackass, Viva La Bam and Dirty Sanches. I know many hate these shows but its simple stupid humor enough for me :)

just finished watching the first 5 episodes of Naruto.

it's silly, but not the annoying kind.
and the episode I just finished was very well done.
I, personaly, would have failed that test... if anyone knows what i'm talking about.

Watch the first 170-180, then stop and wait for the next season/series.

I kind of changed my mind about the show after watching more.
the fight between Kakashi and that water dude was ridiculously boring... the flash-backs that happened 10 second ago were abundent and the fight scenes were -lame-.
I'll finish what i've downloaded, but with low hopes.

I'm not really watching a lot of shows right now. The only one would probably be my weekly dose of Monty Python's Flying Circus every Friday. I will watch the new Doctor Who-series if they decide to continue showing it in Finland.

Mythbusters is fun but I never get to see the start of the show, since, in order to get home from training before it starts, I'd have to practically just grab all of my stuff and sprint home as fast as I can.

Yeah Shonen Jump seems to have problems with crappy fillers and flashbacks. Both Naruto and Bleach are full of them and they're a real turn-off for the shows. Sometimes I wish I could make an anime to get rid of all the crappy cliches. :-\

I keep getting told that certain animes are good.

Then I watch them.

And my eyes bleed.

Someone produce an anime that isn't crap. Please.

Cowboy Bebop?

Does Afro Samurai count?
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

Watching Samurai Champloo at the moment, since people in this thread have recommended it. Spent a lot of time yesterday watching it.
I like it very much, only problem is that at night, I usually dream of something related whatever I've spent most of the day doing. Add to this the fact that I'm sick and had a pretty intense fever yesterday, tonight was a rather uncomfortable night with some pretty... interesting fevered dreams/hallucinations, to say the least :P

haha, I can imagine you flailing in your bed doing the 3 most common things in the show in your dreams.
fighting, eating, red light district.

"no.. must defeat sexy sweet potatoe temptress.. must... sexualy please... sweet... *mumble*"

all depends what you're expecting too, though.

ok, then don't watch samurai champloo, samurai 7, flcl or full metal alchemist.
but Death Note doesn't really feel that much like an anime.

give it a shot.
