Its also on Youtube.

Fallout : The picture is the main Shinigami (Death God), that's following the main character through the story.
He eats apples and is, well addicted to them, like people are to tabacco or alcohol.

Death God?

is that anything at all like Death Gods in Bleach?

Not really, no. Tey teh lack swords, human appearence, imperial soul society thingy....

I like Deathnote. I've only seen eps. 1&2 of the anime, but I rather like the concept.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing thanks for clarifying. I'm actually currently watching Bleach and am on episode 89 or around there I think.

Awesome manga and anime... even considered Raito as my new avatar... Interesting that the main character is basically a bad guy.

There's also a real live action movie (though Ryuk is CGI obviously), the trailer can be found on youtube. Hope it comes to Europe (don't expect theaters, but maybe for 5 € at my local gas station?).

man, I just finished episode 06.

this anime is driving my MAD.
I don't know who to cheer for.
it's almost frustrating how intelligent both ends of the spectrum are.
one of the moves someone made made me actualy drop my jaw and slap my hand over my mouth.

I'm trying to avoid spoilers if you haven't noticed... but... wow... seriously.

Up to chapter seventy-something in the manga, I think. And yeah, everything that Sirix said.
(i) There will come a day when nothing you did matters. But it is not today. Here and now, you are alive.
(ii) Live well under your own authority.
(iii) Abolishing suffering is impossible. Lessening suffering is mandatory.

Hmmm....
I saw Death Note and started thinking about a huge StarCraft match between the giants Nada and Anytime...[gm] that happened not too long ago. Thats what the decided to call the match over in Korea.

edit: Gay how I can't put the word RED in square brackets without it actually changing the color of my font.
What meaning has my life that the inevitability of death cannot destroy it?
