I mainly asked because the guitar-players here would be experienced and I could talk to them first-hand and get advice from them.. Online pre-made lessons are a little impersonal.

Soo.. Any advice you can give me is very much welcome :)

Have patience young grass hopper and allocate yourself an amount of time to practice everyday and what you are going to practice, which reminds me, remember ages ago when you asked me to learn a keyboard solo, Sebastian or something? can you give me the song name, i think i accidentally played while practicing last night :/

Learn to pick alternatively, watch a LOT, or as many as you can, movies of guitar players.

Guitarists you might wanna check out:

Steve Vai (he's considered one of the best guitarists)
John Petrucci (Same here, this is my favorite guitarist)
Joe Satriani (Same here, these three, every guitarist must have heard of these ;) )
Wes Borland (Take the instructional vids or you'll end up by limp bizkit. This guitarist is really experimental and can broaden your vieuws for guitar playing.)

I don't really recommend lessons, because hard labor pays off more.

Whatever, thats what it was listed on Winamp as. Lots of triplets and galloppy things and overall heavy sound. Love the guitarin' in this song :)

Metal aint the way fallout, learn john mayer trio stuff, thats serious playin right there, the riffs are mind melting, you just wanna play or play and sing? or what?

I recommend startin out learnin chords rather than songs. Chords then scales. Otherwise youre just playin other peoples shit when you finally get the urge to write your own material, at least youll know how. To an extent.

QFT.
Don't learn how to play songs first. Learn the basics, then build on that. If you simply learn how to play other peoples work you'll know very little.
Start small, work your way up.
