Just pushed a colleague's car about 1mile through pouring rain, he broke down in the middle of town.

Yeah. I'm f*cking festive.

I cooked rice porridge today. I watched my boy eating it ravenously and felt really satisfied and warm. I thought of my childhood's christmasses, how I liked that rice porridge as kid. I watched my boy and I knew how he felt there, eating it with such joy. I felt really nice and for a moment I captured that christmas feeling just like it was when I was child. It was bliss.

That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

I took cauldron, inserted 2 dl porridge-rice and mixed it with 2 dl of water and small dose of turnip rape oil. I cooked it for 2 minutes. Then I added 1 liter of full-milk. I cooked it with low temperature for 40 minutes mixing it every 2-3 minutes (at start more often). When it was ready I did portions at plates and added bit of butter at top of every portion. There it melted and flowed on porridge like river of gold on mountains of snow. And it was SOOOooooo good.

Word of warning, thou : milk porridges do burn really easily (happened to me once). If it does so don't scrape burnings off from cauldrons bottom but just try to avoid more burnings. If you use full milk or add some extra oil/butter before actual cooking, use cautious temperatures and mix often there should be no problem.
