On the bus:
- Only This Moment, Remind Me and What Else Is There by Røyksopp
- Elisha - Above and Beyond.
- Warcraft soundtracks

In the car: The soundtracks of Spider-Man, Pirates of the Caribbean and Batman Begins.
On the subway: Something awesome from remix.kwed.org.
Just close your eyes and keep your mind wide open.

When I first wake up I usually put on some black metal.  It's fast, energetic, and wakes me up for the day.

Guided by Voices all the time anytime.

If you can stand Broadway musicals, here is one that works as a song on your alarm clock to actually wake you up: "Crunchy Granola Suite" from Fosse. My college roommate set his computer to wake us with this song one morning and I liked it. It starts out quiet, a spring-like orchestral instrumental, gradually grows in volume and brassiness, then changes into brass-backed song.

If you sing it at school, they're liable to send you home
never knowing what you're showing, think you're growing your own tea.

The original SID-soundtrack to "Flimbo's Quest" by  Reyn Ouwehand. If that can't get you going early in the morning nothing will!  :)

I already mentioned in the heavens gate thread that the song Heavens Gate by Therapy? is the song my phone plays to wake me up in the morning. Therapy? in general are good morning music, energetic but generally pissed off p

Anything composed by me is bound to make you wake up...and feel disturbed the whole day...
