Haven't actually seen any Stepmania machines with MaSu in them, so that was rather cool.

ah man... I wana plaaaayyyy.

playing Bouff and Cryosleep on the ITG2 machine we have here was super fun... I could only dream of playing a 7 minute song as incredible as apex ultima.

Aww come on that was an easy song. I'll try and get a vid of me playing Hybrid or Bouff at my friends house. (He has a metal pad and ITG for ps2) Where do you even get Stepmania machines??

yeah.. it was easy because it was on a low difficulty.

try it on whatever the hard difficulty is called for Stepmania.

Actually, on the machine I was on, that was the hardest difficulty. I'm working on a new sim file for it though. I'm friend with most of the guys that work there and can easily get it synced.

Oh, I also have a Hybrid vid. It's old, and doesn't have any sound, but you all know how Hybrid goes.

I play stepmania but I don't think there are legal MACHINES out there are there? Or is it just a hacked ITG machine? I know of a few that have been hacked and have 4000 plus songs.

Not in the classic sense, no.  Technically the arcade doesn't have performance rights to that song, but I don't think anyone cares.  Stepmania cabinets are easy to build and take down and so any suing of the arcade would result in them taking out the machine - not worth the lawyer's time since they make no money.

ITG is the closest to a legal arcade Stepmania cabinet there is, although Konami won ITG in a recent court decision.

Unrelatedly, check the credits down at the bottom of ITG1 arcade under 'Special thanks'  :)   I never get tired of mentioning that.

Hehe yeah I remember you saying that. About the court case - I'm really pissed about that. ITG was so much better than DDR and what Konami is doing is monopolizing the franchise. I really loved the difficult stepcharts and Kyle Ward's awesome music. But whatever maybe ITG will be back someday. :(

We need another video of you actually doing it though, I wanna see someones legs fly a million fricken miles per hour. Thats what I wanna see. To Machinae no less.
