I have to chime in:
Things done wrong with Overworld:
I want it and can't have it yet.

I'm actually really lookin' forward to it. MaSu has a tradition for putting out kick-ass songs and albums. There comes a point where you just realize that ain't gunna change, I ain't worried about it all. Look forward to hearing it, i'm sure I'll love it. This isn't the fanboy in me talking, it's the statistical monster inside me talking. When you have a 100% track record of putting out stuff someone really likes, you just start expecting it'll be good. The only judgement I suspect I'll have to make is if its my new favorite album or not. I'm just not the kind of person that thinks the album has be better than everything else they've done. Will it? Maybe, they seem really excited about it. MaSu has typically evolved and grown as musicians with each passing year as well. But on that token, I don't REQUIRE that to enjoy the album either. But the best thing about DXM and Redeemer was simply that they were both excellent albums and so different, but they were BOTH Machinae. Held together by style, the genres were actually quite different. I can't tell you which one I like more, because while they are both Machinae - They are so different. And they both rock socks. (Perhaps thats the binding genre? Rock Socks? Maybe). I wonder if Overworld continues this trend of evolution, sounding different than the other two - but held together by the style of machinae? I suspect it will. But once again, I go full circle. Even if it doesn't and it fits in with DXM or Redeemer, it's still gunna be good music. And we'll enjoy it. And we'll make everyone around us sick of hearing us repeat the same album.
Ah well, speculate as we like. I'm excited for this. I think Gimme More was a really cool song and brilliant idea (that worked, go-go radio play). Two more months and we'll all be enjoying.
Okay, carry on.
