i'm pretty sure a date consisting of one "2008", one number higher than 12, and one other number will be understandable nby all who care to glance at it...

synth is exciting no matter how long or how played-live.

Yes, you guys are correct, we should learn to use some sort of international standard, so there are no misunderstandings...

...

But seriously... The international standard is wrong. :) In my opinion, there are only two versions that make sense... that's day-month-year, or year-month-day (which is what I tend to use). I mean, any country who has the metric system (you other countries are excused, you have a long way to go still...) ... :) ... should be able to appreciate the sequentiality of:
Smallest number... middle number... biggest number... (or the other way around)... :)

It's kind of like... We don't say 0820 about 2008, right? :) Although the germans are like that, right? Funf und zwantsich, or whateverthefuck. :)

But I digress...

It's my job to keep SID elite.

Year-month-day is the international standard (and what I switched it to 8) )

I sure as hell won't accept American month-day-year - sorry guys, but that's just dumb.

Yes. And I have to admit it's somewhat stupid, even if you get used to it.
Our date is still DD.MM.YYYY, though.
We're open to such things, we've even talked many times about doing it with Inja, but in a way that's redundant because we can already get Erica

Not to get overly technical, but that's dependent on the country you live in.

Here in Canada (and I'm assuming the States as well), we write our date (using today's as an example) "November 23, 2007". Broken down, that's "November(MM) 23(DD), 2007(YYYY)", the MM-DD-YYYY notation. However I do know of people (and I'm sure countries by standard) that write the date as "23 November, 2007", which follows the DD-MM-YYYY notation. As for YYYY-MM-DD notation, it makes no sense to me because I've never seen anybody write the date "2007, November 23", but I could have missed something.

As a side note, writing the year as 0820 is a totally unrelated thing, considering you're breaking up a number to do that (which in turn would be the same concept as November 23 being mberNove 32 instead), unless there's a language convention at play there, in which case I have nothing to say on the topic.

In any case, straying from the technical point of view, I use DD-MM-YYYY because it's what I'm used to.

Please stop arguing this.
I fail to see the relevance of it.
Anyone moderatly intelligent should be able to figure out that there cannot be the 2008:th day of the 13:th month year 2 after the second coming or whatnot.
Will this be the end of the current line of arguing?

Indeed, we should stop arguing over such a silly thing... just let people use the format they want to.

so, february 13th? I wonder if it'll be released here in (Ontario) Canada, I never see Redeemer in stores >.<

I currently do not know where the album's going to be released.
Hopefully we get license for America, Canada and Japan as well as in the EU.
