Soon I will build my own PC and burn this one! ;)

I wish I could've done that to the old PC I was using for (too) many years... Too bad my parents wanted to have it. That damn thing had an OEM WinME in it at first. Oh, I've been through Hell...

Anyway! Here's the apple of my eye.

Project name: Polarstern
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
Asus A8V-XE motherboard
Nexus NX-4090 400W PS
512mb o' DDR400 [Need MOAR for Photoshop, tho']
80Gb Seagate Barracuda & 300Gb Maxtor DiamondMax hard drives
Samsung Writemaster 18X DVD+/-RW
Modecom "STEP" midi case with LCD, which I decorated with my logo
Wacom Graphire2 A5 tablet
WinXP Pro SP2 [Should start using Linux, yes]

...aaand ATM I'm using my friend's ancient graphics card and display, so in fact my project is still incomplete 'till my next "pay day". ;P

Nice case.

My trusty laptop is a Centrino 1,6GHz with a gig of RAM and Mobility Radeon 9700.

It has way too much shit crammed into it, is painfully overdue for a format (almost two years since I last formatted. I'm surprised it still lives), and can therefore be rather...unresponsive.

It's also a cheap make, Elitegroup ECS, and I've been extremely lucky compared to many others I know, to not have any major problems with it. Just ask talhoffer how difficult his is...

UPDATE!

Big PC:
Pentium 4 3.2GHz (OC'd to 3.72)
XFX Geforce 7900GT 520 model, 256 GDR3 memory and way high clock.
2Gigs of RAM
720 GB 7200RPM of harddrive space.

Notebook:
AMD Turion 64 1.8 GHz 3400+
1GB of RAM
ATI Radeon X700 Express
100GB drive.
Running the latest RC version of Windows Vista and DAMN does that boost gaming.

Update to both my PC's but I really need to build a new stationary one. The CPU is a bottleneck to the graphics card now. And its really old. The first version of pentium 4 that made it to the 775 socket and then the pins were still on the CPU.

I managed, before the patches ruined the game. Average fps staring at a wall is around 80, but +3 enemies on screen and im down at 20-30fps. in a firefight it drops down to 10 occasionally :/

I just ordered a new (err refurbished) computer off of geeks.com yesterday. :D

Here are the specs:

Pentium 4 3.06 GHz processor
Hyper-Threading technology
1024 MB DDR RAM
200 GB Hard Drive
DVD+- RW drive with Lightscribe technology
Integrated ATi Radeon XPRESS 200 graphics
Windows XP Media Center preinstalled

And it was only $491.99!  ;D
I love geeks.com

Meh, not too impressed with that particular detail.
I hope you're planning to invest in a decent graphics card as well ;)
