"Disturbed sucks! I hate the bands you like!"

I downloaded all three of Disturbed's albums. I only really like a few songs by them. A few in TTF are Stricken, Guarded, Deify, Avarice, and of course Ten Thousand Fists. I like his voice but they're a little too weird for me.

Ah so this is the other musicians you bashed.

I prefer disturbed older stuff, their first album was golden. After that.. not so much. I think they hit a mainstream cycle or tried to.

just because a band changed their style a bit doesn't mean they did it because they are mainstream.

I prefer Korn's newest albums over their first.
same with Static-x.
they have developed a recognizeable style, while with their first albums they just sounded heavy and angry.

unique -and- popular doesn't necesarily have to mean mainstream.

A lot of people have started to dislike Tool because of their style not changing, although it's their soul they are turning into music...bastards!!! LOVE THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE
But if one day we meet together while I'm drunk, I promise you to draw a big group sex picture including a lot of forumites. :D

I don't really think Disturbed changed their style after their first album. Believe actually happenes to be my favorite one. I think the songs on that album are a little easier to listen to.

I wasnt speaking in such a general fashion, however i saw distrubed on TV recently and thought that was a pick me up on the whole popularity boost in a different area of fans. I still love david for kicking the shit out of Finch though, they always have my respect. Im just speaking out of personal interest and opinion. What do i know? i listen to all sorts these days, im less heavy metal than i ever was.. i guess my horizons have just spread more so.

Human, heh.

That song turned me against Disturbed for quite a while.

LIBER-ATE YOUR MIND, YOU'RE SO NARROW MINDED SO NARROW MINDED SO LIBER-ATE YOUR MIND YOU MOTHERFUCKER YOUR SO NARROW MINDED NARROW MINDED.

I would much rather listen to Zerg metal then that song again.
