Avatar size rule?

I see that there are no avatar size rules here(it seems that way at least). 100x100 pixels max should be sufficient for most users imo.

What about a limit like 75x75 or something like in inches that we can just say to new people, btw your avatar needs to be blah blah  :)

Good old sixtyfour did not have that problem. I recall though I once did couple of so big games with basic that it run out of memory.

Good avatar but I'm little disappointed it was not Turrican in gyrocope-mode, laying mines and shredding enemies...

I vote 80*80, then I can use the same avatar on all forums I visit.
I'd like to be able to upload my avatar too, linking to it isn't quite my style...
