I have so-come to peer pressure and boredom... In no particular order.

1. The Offspring - The Kids Arn't Alright: My first love really. Putting my headphones on and listening to this very loud was just indescribable.

2. Papa Roach - Between Angels and Insects: The first "nu-metal" song that really grabbed me and introduced me to the sceen.

3. Linkin Park - Every fucking song: My absolute one true love. The the very second i first heard this band to right now, i am completely obsessed with their music and never ever get bored of listening to them.

Papercuts: Favorite song on the planet, i think it stands for everything Linkin park are about and it is perfectly my kind of good listening.

Pushing Me Away (Remix): Another side of my kind of music, using loads of different techniques to really bang a tune out.

Faint: Fatest paced song they have released and nothing gets me going like speed :D

Breaking the Habit: I used to be a huge fan of In the End but when Breaking the Habit came out, it didn't go along side In the End for me, it took its place completely.

Numb: My second most favorite Linkin Park song after Papercuts.

8. Machinae Supremacy - Player One: If i was to drop down dead tomorrow, i would want this song to be played at my funeral.

9. Iceman - Shining Collection: My favorite Japanese band. When i went to Japan it was my mission to find their stuff even though they haven't existed for 6 years. Going against everyone who told me it was impossible i managed to find 3 of their DVD's, becoming the best thing i bought in Japan.

10. Evanescence - My Last Breath : Just think this is an absolutely amazing song. Lots of feeling and well done.

I've left some of my favorite bands ofd such as Janne Da Arc, MCM, Muse, Pink Floyd, Powerman 5000, Rammstein and SOAD as i like their songs as a whole, and can't pick individual ones that stand a mile out.

Bullet Ride and Acid rain are indeed some of my past favourites, nothing more fun than playing along to them, more so with people actually playing the tune, but makes good practice playing LTE songs.

  • Mindless Self Indulgence - Shut Me Up
  • Nightwish - Romanticide
  • Protomen - Will of One
  • KMFDM - Anarchy

I think i love you.  not only do you mention a very good (albeit overplayed) MSI song, but you mention one of my favorite KMFDM songs, AND The Protomen.  As for Nightwish... i love them, only becuase of Hampster, A Dentist, Hard Porn Censored, Steven Seagull...

Omg I love you too.

<3

Anywho, I agree it probably is overplayed but since I don't listen to the radio it's all good to me. I just really like the whip sound for some reason. As per Protomen... yes yes, they r0x to degrees that cannot be described by mere words. And uhm, Anarchy is probably my favorite KMFDM song.

3. Alone in my Room - Skin I know Paul Draper (Mansun singer/songwriter) has something to do with this track and you can feel that, so I love it :)

He wrote it. Despite that, I do'nt like the song; maybe it might just boil down to not being able to stand her voice.

6. Kogoeru Yoru ni Saita Hana - D'espairsRay Even though my Japanese speaking skills are limited to shouting 'Omega kawaii!' at cute things, I think this track has a great sing-along quality. Seems like the band are going less heavy, more melody which is pretty cool

You'll be happy to know that the lead singer of D'espairs Ray is one of the people I'm considering getting my hair done like.

Top 10 at the moment.

CRAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLING IN MY SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN.

Just kidding. Onto the good stuff. Top 10 ever.

//.10. Machinae Supremacy : Rogue World Asylum

Why? Because this is one of MS's top 5 songs. Ever. Great guitar, excellent vocals.

//.09. Harry Chapin : 30,000 Pounds of Bananas

Why? Song about my hometown. How could I not like it?

//.08. Rage Against the Machine : Know Your Enemy|Wake Up

Why? These are tied because they're completely in your face. Also, the guitar solo in the middle of Wake Up is amazing.

//.07. Lights of Euphoria : Consequence

Why? Bitchin' beat. Great vocals, and an awesome song.

//.06. Covenant : Dead Stars

Why? While completely over-played, it's an awesome song overall. Remember, dead stars still burn.

//.05. Machinae Supremacy : Oki Kuma's Adventure

Why? Second best song by MS in my opinion. I love the sid play in the beginning and the vocals are absolutely tremendous.

//.04. Assemblage 23 : Drive

Why? It's a song about being able to get away from everything. Alas, my dream. Hawaii ftw.

//.03. VNV Nation : Honour 2003

Why? It's a remix of Honour, which in itself is an amazing song. It's a song about war and blah, but it's got an amazing beat and even better vocals.

//.02. Machinae Supremacy : Hubnester Inferno

Why? Needs no explanation.

//.01. Icon of Coil : Existence in Progress

Why? Such an amazing beat. Just incredible. A sad song, but a good song nonetheless.

Honorable Mention:

//. Statemachine : A Crying Statue
//. Machinae Supremacy : Hate
//. Jefferson Airplane : White Rabbit
//. Korn : Got the Life
//. Pink Floyd : High Hopes

Top 10. Wowz.
