Sven Co-op official site (in case you need to download it or get new maps)
Server IP: 24.7.142.220:27015 (Most likely offline at the moment, unless a game is scheduled)


Special bonus to all board members: Post/PM your Steam ID and I'll give you a reserved slot.

The current map cycle contains all the original maps that come with the game, as well as the maps from "Creepsworld Map Pack" and "Classic Map Pack" (both available on the official Sven site, towards the bottom of "Essential Maps" ). This server also includes support for the original Half-Life campaign.

If there are any maps/features you'd like to see, or if you find a server bug, let me know and I'll do my best to add/fix it.

For now I'll be leaving the server off while it's not in use to conserve bandwidth. I'll fire it up whenever someone wants it on for the day/night. PM me or send me a message on MSN messenger, and chances are I'll be able to turn it on pretty quickly.

ok so that's half-life 1, right? um gotta search for a working copy then...

Steam will download everything you need, provided you have your original HL cd key.

In terms of mods? No, I don't think so. HL:S runs off the Source engine, doesn't it? I remember playing it once, but it looked exactly the same as HL1.

Odd. It's up right now, seems to be working ok. If it was down at some point, it was probably my cable company doing something stupid. They like to break stuff once in a while.

Also, I need to find a tool that will auto-restart the server when it crashes. I used to use serverdoc, but it crashes with Sven Co-op now for some reason. Anyone know of a good alternative?

I may just go ahead and try to find an old copy of HL1 at Wal-Mart/Best Buy etc while im out today. Also be at the mall so I'll check there. I can't find my CD-Key =(
