It depends on the lemonade and ice tea. And my assertion that from a tactical viewpoint, Diplomacy is infinitely better than CAA, is objectively true. CAA is a great and very funny game, but in it, luck with the dice or random happenings can change everything. In Diplomacy, you need to have your eyes on the overall goal from the start, you need to use every single of your scarce resources to the max, and you need to create coalition and alliances with the other players, because each player, by himself, is too weak to do much.
I'm gonna go buy the game and take it with me next time I visit Talhoffer, to prove it's strategic superiority.
