Favorite Coheed and Cambria album?
« on: June 02, 2006, 02:40:33 pm »
I started off liking Good Apollo the most, and Second Stage Turbine Blade began to grow on me... In Keeping Secrets as well, but Second Stage moreso. (and the Second Stage live versions are more rockin.)

This is obviously an older video from before they were on magazine covers and shit, but notice how half the audience knows the words and sings along. Near the end when the song picks up (around 4:08), the pit's bumping, people jump on the stage, there's a random fan drumming along with the drummer, and another random fan on stage meticulously props up the guitar that the lead singer (Claudio) just set down. Haha, that is fucking fantastic. wonderful band energy. that video just makes me wish I was *there*.

Same song, years earlier.. performance isn't as good, but lots more energy, and, come 4:08 or so, the crowd is fucking swarming and they're all into it. it's just fantastic.

i think good apollo is their best work. but i can't say i'm a massive fan, singer's voice is a bit annoying (not as annoying as his hair though :P ).

In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 and Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One. From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness are both as awesome as each over.
