Am I the only person who sees the similarities?

There are very similar portions in Deus ex Machinae (the song) and Hate. I'm not insisting it's intentional, but check this out:

There might be a tiny bit that's distantly related, but overall I don't see a similarity.

GOOD GOD! i just opened up the songs in audacity to have a look... when i noticed... ALL OF MY DEUS EX MACHINAE MP3s ARE IN MONO! how have i never noticed this before? and my bloody cd got scratched to shit by my girlfriend!!!!! (anyone want to rip their copy and send me it? ;) )
