Pink Floyd
« on: April 21, 2006, 12:15:05 pm »
Tonight, me and Akakori go see Austrialian Pink Floyd. These are obviously a cover band but they are that good that the original band players had them play at their wedding.

I was just wondering if theres anymore floyders out there? I think Machinae and Floyd have somethign in common. Theres no one else out there like them. They are the kings of what they do. Entertain us.

Pink Floyd is really, really good. I've been to a Pink Floyd coverband consert in Sweden, and it was really good. Floydians everywhere ;)

BTW, what's your favourite PF track? Mine would be Echoes, love that song. 23 minutes of pure goodness.

Atom Heart Mother Suite.

I have all the albums out of fan-ness, even if I don't enjoy the Gilmour-era stuff very much.

Floyd is cool. I love "Wish You Were Here," if only 'cause it was the first song I mastered on the geefiddle.
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

I'm all for the floyd. About the only thing less than heavy metal I'll listen to consistantly (well, besides deep purple)

As for favorite track, I like Keep Talking a lot, Brain Damage/Eclipse are up their, too.
I'm in need of more though, I only have The wall, DSOTM (on vinyl, woo), Meddle, and The devision bell
See why Massachusetts rocks? We have Slippy <.<

'Tis a shame that Roger Waters was kicked out. A better songwriter would be hard to find.

The show was absolutely amazing. Its the 3rd time i've seen them and by far the best. Lots of feeling put into it. Best song was Us and Them i think.
