Machinae is one of my favorite bands of all time, don't get me wrong (and I say that about very, very few bands). But nothing has ever touched me musically like The Perfect Element has. The concept behind that album is too big for words, although the way the lyrics transfer these ideas is simply amazing. TPE is about (and this is an extremely minimalistic description) how society systematically creates outcasts/"defects" and shuns them. Granted, it's partially a love story between two of these such people (but I typically hate love stories anyhow, so it only works in this sort of context). The lyrics are purely emotion-laden, and the instrumentation also transfers emotion in ways I could have never imagined.
I can upload it to yousendit if you want.
and, in my opinion, TPE>Entropia>Remedy Lane>One Hour..>BE>12:5.
