Best... Album... Ever.
« on: September 13, 2003, 06:52:18 am »
Ok, now that there's the best song ever floating around, I gotta ask.  What's the best album you've ever heard.

For me the answer is a no brainer.  It's "Eric Clampton: Unplugged."  There's no shortage of beautiful ballads and thoughtful lyrics.  I'm also a huge fan of meaningful lyrics, and you can hear the pain that he feels in "Tears in heaven" (A song, in case you don't know that was written after the loss of his three year old son in a tragic accident.)

But at the same time you have peppy and upbeat songs like "Rolling and tumbling" and "Before you accuse me."

Each song is just plain beautiful, as a whole it's a package worthy of my actual purchace. (It's one of the few actual CDs that I own.)

Ooooh! This is even more difficult to answer than "the best song ever" I give it a try though.....hm....

Abbas' greatest hits :D

;D Do I dare to write this down??! ok, I'm not a whimp....Lena Ph - "My name" :P (aaaaaah! don't slay me! don't slay me for this!!! *sobella runs like hell....!)

David Bowie - Honky Dory/Ziggy Stardust/Space Oddity/Scary Monsters/Young Americans  8)

Pippi Longstocking ::)

But you know...it's difficult...there are too many of them I think. (Ozzys for one. Erasures too. etc.)

The Ventures - The Original

All the hits, only one lousy song. Tough question though 'cause there are so many good, excellent ones. Thist depends on mood pretty much too. But if I have to pick one, that's it.

Cool.  I'm glad that I'm not the only one who enjoys the Ventures.  Good choice!

Ventures = surfing on brainwaves  ;)

Amazing music! I just lay back with my headphones on and relax...Soon the music takes me over and...That's one hell of an experience! Every music takes it own approach and methods of listening. It would be interesting to have topic "how you like your Machinae served?" where people would tell how they approach music of Machinae Supremacy, when and how they listen it...

I find it really hard to put a "best" mark in any category whatsoever. music is particularly hard. but the albums i would put in the top positions are:
linkin park - hybrid theory
powerman 5000 - tonight the stars revolt!
mansun -attack of the grey lantern
catatonia - international velvet

and, of course, machinae supremacy's forthcoming album  ;)

I wont say what is the best album ever because I don't know what is. But I can tell you my favourites:

Weird al - running with scissors & poodle hat
Linkin park - meteora
Resin dogs - grand theft auto
Metallica - S & M

Some of the other music that I like, is like only listen to one or two songs on the cd then change cd. For example I like red hot chillie peppers, their latest album I only could listen to three songs on it.

Poodle hat was ok.. definately not his best album though.  I do love running with sissors. (The concert I saw him at was part of the "Touring with sissors Tour"  So he did most of the stuff from that album.)

I've been a fan sence I was old enough to remember, really.  We had "In 3-D" on vinyl... that was a trip.  Only record my father kept, too, out of his collection of 100s...

Green Day - Dookie.

I almost wrote "my first, my last, my everything".

Anyways, my all time favorite album. It's one of the main reasons I am what I am today.

Is that a critisism or a complement, Neoblaze?
