Addiction
« on: February 07, 2006, 09:57:54 pm »
Damn you guys! I had a haircut appointment and I had to go early to school afterwards to get a project done, but I still haven't left the house, and in fact I still haven't even left the computer, 'cuz I can't stop listening to Through The Looking Glass. Fuck. This is seriously not good. I have a bit of an addict-personality and this is just feeding my addiction. It might even turn into a health hazard. I can imagine myself sitting here listening to this for days on end on infinite loop, without so much as leaving this room to get something to eat or to pee. You knew this song kicks ass; why didn't you warn us?! Put a warning label next to the download links! Oh God I need help.

When they find a cure, send me some...

I've fallen prey to the Machinae Syndrome.

Think the problem is it gets "stuck" in your brain and it goes through your brain all  the time so you gotta listen to it again and repeat ^^
Music addiction ftw

Well. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has the song on repeat, nigh indefinitely. Lucky for me, I really don't have to leave the house to go anywhere (Gods, I love having a mini-fridge in my room. >=D ).

I'm starting to think that this song is a tad more addictive than smoking. o.o
I can't think of anything. ... Nevermind.

I'm currently playing nothing but Rise and TTLG, I seriously wish I'd brought my mp3 player to court with me, Gods that was boring... I like to listen to music long enough that I can essentially play it from memory: hear all the stuff in my head.
Your approval fills me with shame.

Flash card/Thumb drive players can be around $100 or less, then there's your HDD based ones which usually run $200+. Mine's a 20GB HDD that was ~$240.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with the addiction problems. I've already reached and passed the stage where I can play the entire song in my head 'cuz I've heard it so much. Not that I've turned it off and switched to the version in my head. I'm in the middle of Maya class right now and I'm listening to TTLG while I model a body. Over and over and over. Somehow, realigning vertices and editing edges takes on a whole new meaning when you're listening to this song. It becomes dramatic almost, as if the whole world is depending on you to merge the vertices correctly and align the edges with just the right spacing. It's a wonderful thing really. This song wins, big time. If the rest of Redeemer is half as good (and I already know Seventeen and Fury are gonna be amazing) then I'll probably listen to it day and night, even in my sleep (during which I'll have wet dreams as a result of a mixed-reaction to the music and dreaming about hot Swedish girls). Damn you Swedes! Why must you be so talented?!

I have them on a seperate music folder on my PSP, and I take my PSP wherever I go. I listen to it at home on my pc (and i spend nearly all of my time on my pc) and when I go out I'm listening to them on my PSP. Addicted? I think so.
