bah. NI is a stones throw from the mainland. Assuming they'd be going to the UK, taking the ferry is a helluvalot cheaper than getting to canada :P

NI might be close to it distance-wise, but it's not just the distance that counts, it's the amount they have to spend to book another show there for a relatively (much) smaller audience.

The thing is, most venues in NI would be a fair bit smaller, so having Machinae play a show that says 'SOLD OUT' looks pretty damn good. It works almost as free advertising.

Uhh, we're all forgetting that Oklahoma has the greatest quantity of Machinae fans.

*checks Frappr map*

Okay, I lied. But still..!

We thought this was a great idea, since that means we get to give you guys, the hardcore fans, the "director's cut" of Redeemer, as it was initially intended, while the mainstream crowd, the store people and those not yet familiar with machinae supremacy, get the retail version.

thanks for the clarification robert. as soon as i saw retail and underground, i thought underground would be hard to get.  cant wait to get my hands on a copy
Playing God is like playing house.......only more interesting.

I think either Luleå or Stockholm probably has the largest number of MaSu fans....

I think Hemel has the largest number of fans-to-population ratio. I know of at least 3 (Myself, a friend and BeatifulNightmare according to the Frappr map) and out of a population of ~60,000, that ends up as 1 in 20,000 people is a Machinae fan.

I dunno about that, I mean me, Kasumi, Spunky and Laser all live pretty close to each other. And if we do fans per house, I win. (100% Machinae fanage @ chez Spider Chii ;) )

I've managed to infect many of my friends, and a large portion of a small town in Virginia likes the band because of me sending a copy of DXM with one of those friends on his trip there...

Well I introduced an entire planet to Machinae Supremacy and every single single-celled organism on that planet damn well loved it. That planet was called Zeeduwop, you may have heard the name...
