1000 Members (nearly)
« on: December 17, 2005, 01:12:20 am »
It's like 984 members. That's 16 new members needed to reach the almighty 1K.

So start pushing your friends to join and don't give them a chance to ask "Machine who?", just get 'em on here  :P ;)

And no cheating with alt accounts!

Once 1000 members is reached, the forum really pushses out of the bounds of a tiny forum. Once we get around 70 or so regulars[1], we will almost be pushing the boundaries for medium sized.

[1] We have around 28. These are forummers who you would pretty much put money on, to appear every day.

Around 28? That's pretty exact...did you count?

Now, it's off to my third exam this semester...well, I'll go in two minutes or so.

How is around a number pretty exact? I was hazarding a guess, as the only real regulars at the moment seem to be (correct me if I left anyone out):

Fiindil
Torp
Laser
BloodAngel - AKA Spunky
VR - AKA Spider Chii
VT
MDX
Bateman
SpeedD
Rehevkor
Mashed
Radicz0r
DialupDaemon
Jammin - AKA SomethingGood
DuGaE - AKA Generalissimo
Trezker
Chompy
Magicman
Bearfoot (with a PPD of ~1, for his length of time here, he has to count as a regular)
Ankle
Harvey Danger

I know. That's only 21. I was thinking of including some now somewhat dubious entries, like Boaz and Fallout.

About as regular as the sun imploding.

They still have a fairly high PPD though, I think.

Never looked into the mathematics, but I doubt the ppd is that significant, as it won't compensate years of lurkage.

Because they spammed the place to hell when they joined, is why.

Then start doing it!

That goes for all you lurkers, by the way. We're less scary than we seem to. Except SomethingGood.

And you are not almighty, Rad. Not even I am almighty, though I come pretty damn close.
