Thanksgiving
« on: November 25, 2005, 05:12:49 am »
As you may or may not know, today in the US is Thanksgiving, a day generally set aside to reflect on our blessings and to stuff yourself so full that you're glad that your pants have elastic in the wastebands.

I just wanted you all to know that one of the things I'm thankful for is the great buncha people here on the Machinae forums...

I only ate one plate, and one piece of pie.

I'm ashamed of myself :(

HOW DARE YOU RUIN THE SPIRIT OF GLUTTONY!
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

Ya know, you should be thankful that you have all this food, which could've easily have been sent to hundreds of starving people in African countries or whereever. Well, of course you are thankful; you're thankful that you're American. And not Sudanese. But don't we all.

*grins*  I'm thankful my parents took me out to a fancy restuarunt where I'm thankful that they cut the prime rib about two inches thick...

I'm also very thankful I didn't have to pick up the check...!
