Transport Tycoon (Deluxe)
« on: September 20, 2005, 05:50:14 pm »
Just curious, has anyone had this game, played it on a network game and actually made a profit? I didn't realise how popular this game was until i was talking to some random people and it seems everyone has it :3 Keke

I never much liked TTD, my two brothers kept playing it over the LAN at home. I didn't really like Rollercoaster Tycoon or the Sim City series too much, which is probably a main factor in not liking OpenTTD.

ah TTDX - now there's a legend of a game *reminisces*

I had a few good LAN games of this - but never found it much of a challenge since once a route was profitable you could just leave it to make money with minimum maintenance.

BTW - Can anybody please explain why I still see new copies of Theme Hospital on nearly every shop shelf? I played it and it was good... but I wouldn't buy it today so who the hell is?
tomorrow I will be here
and I won't be the only easter egg

Have you read all the instructions?
Maybe you're supposed to move something.

But IIRC openttd just needs to know where ttd is located.

So you install it and when it asks for ttd you point it to? The file you jsut installed or the original game installation? I didn't quite understand it/read it :3
