And require effort to make run on XP. Fully expect Vista to destroy them entirely. :P
Yeah, I was kidding.

But I don't mind that so much. *hugs his 95 box*

Yeah but who wants to use their old PCs to game when they can use their newer ones with  surround sound and the ability to play Deus Ex and System Shock 2 at the highest settings and whatnot.  :P

Because it's not a bad box, just an old OS :P

Most people don't have the money or space to waste on good hardware for that old OS. Not to mention there is no support for a lot of the newer hardware on Windows 95 and 98. Pentium 4 and Win95 == no boot, for example.

I got stuck on Fiindils preorder post. I was seconds before preordering Oblivion when I learned that they'll release it next year.

If you're going to pre-order, Amazon trump Play by a mile and a half. Ordered AOE III yesterday from Amazon, and got it today, Play are STILL awaiting stock for it. Amazon ftw.

Except for buying a XBOX 360. They say some preorders will be delivered in early 2006.  I'm not sure if I'll get one on the release day, but if so, I'll have to visit a real store. Early in the morning.

If performance of that one game is indication of the console in general, yikes. 30fps bugs the crap out of my eyes and makes me feel sick.

Perfect Dark: Zero apparently isn't too hot.  :|

It is apparently from a magazine according to the orginal poster on shacknews. I guess we shall see if it is true shortly as there are other Xbox 360 game reviews already going up left and right on the net.

On a related note, do reviewers even review games anymore? They sure seem to post them up quick and never mention half the horrible flaws the games actually have.

Short and pretty games, eh?
Oh well, hopefully they won't throw out Co-op.
