Hmm, I don't know if you can say that. Symphony of the Night does have a great soundtrack though. Have you heard Dracula X: Rondo of Blood's soundtrack? That's awesome too. Some people say its better than SOTN's music.

Final Fantasy's music is in a whole other league.
SOTN is more like gothic rock. If you want to compare it to something more like it, check out the Guilty Gear series. Guilty Gear XX's soundtrack blows SOTN out of the water.  ;D

SotN rocks. The new GBA Castlevania games are more or less SotN-like as well as far as I've seen... Metroid-style. Anyone know any other games of a similar concept and greatness? *drools for more after having finished SotN for the umpteenth time*

Shall check out Gulity Gear.. Thx for the tip!

Hmm..  well, dont know any new games that are like Sotn. They have stopped making great games..

And yes, Castlevania and final fantasy are two different types of music..  if you look at sotn. But cats are cuter than pigs. ya know?

If you want good castlevania music..  listen to these albums:

Dracula Battle Perfect Selection - Metal Versions
Draculas New Classics - Classical music..  Or wtf you say.

I think you can find them and other great albums at:
www.classicgaming.com/castlevania/

click multimedia/soundtrack..
