I think paid ("legal") music download will take off for commercial ("pop") music in the next one or two years. But especially in market niches (e.g. game inspired / scene music) the data carrier becomes a collectors item for fans, therefore I think labels like MbD should get along without downloads for a while.

Thats also something else i've considered in general is to have the ability to digitally download albums but it something i personally feel degrades the original CD. We do have a contigency plan for this however should the need ever arise because i seriously do believe in time digital downloading will become the norm of music in years to come.

What about FLAC?
