I tried shutting down bitcomet now, it worked alot better.
I got silver medal  ;D

Played some matches on a small map server.
My team got owned every damn game, but I got ranked second best player in the game. I was best of the bad, and almost best of all.

Also got some assault prize when I did a kickass raid with a tank, all on my own.

-_-...You had bitcomet running in the background...

Background internet applications lower the chance of getting hit.

Got the full version earlier today.  It's not too different from BF1942 although it almost justifies the £30 price tag.

You've got gulidwars, that should still be keeping you busy. It sure is keeping me busy. Hows this I purchased GTA:SA for the PC but I barley play it at all.

I'm a Lance Corporal so far in the game.  If you don't have any unlocked weapons, kill an enemy soldier wielding one and take it. :P

havent played B2...  played B1942, but i dont dig the whole realistic shooter (heh, im ranting about realism in Morrowind, and yet i dont dig realistic shooters...) becuase the sheer adrenaline pheast that is Unreal Tournament 2004 has consumed my soul.  used to be 3rd on teh US ladder!

anyways, if B2 is better than B1942, i may take a look at the demo...

i just couldnt get into bf1942... i really wanted to, but there was just soooooo much running around over open territory before you so much as saw an enemy, and then you just got sniped through the head and had to start again. not noob friendly.

Rule #1, always wait for a ride.

Just make sure it isn't someone like me driving, especially in a jeep/dune buggy

*climb into jeep* Enemy tank, nice. *turns towards tank driving full speed towards it

*explosion*

Or as it is with my normal luck.
I drive up to my squad leader and yells "Get in!"
He gets in, BOOM! *sigh*

Ah, a man of my own heart.

Let me tell you about [JTR]VisionThing, jeep demolitions expert extraordinaire.

in BF1942, you fill a jeep with dynamite. You then GET IN the jeep, and drive it accross the desert (it worked best on the desert maps), right up to an nemey tank, jump out at the last second and detonate!! woah they never expected it and it was so hard to defend against, fast moving jeeps r so hard to hit, specially when I'm driving! once or twice i even survived!!

I like to play "GTA" in BF2 ;D
The enemy had a sniper squad on a hill, so I grab a jeep and drive around on that hill trying to hit as many as possible.
Since they're sniping they kinda don't notice anything until it's too late.
The rough terrain dealt some damage on my transportation though.

Wait, you used dynamite and get out? More fun to drive AFAP with a plain jeep. Plus it gets a fair few laughs if the tank is fully loaded with people.
