basically its a switch at the bottom of the strings that instantly switches the tuning of your E string to D and back again. Handy

bought one now, its a ibanez rgt42 FM   an it fucking blows my mind every time i play it  bridgepickup sounds fat and chunky (not like emg81 but kinda close ;) ) and the neckpu sings like a angel  ;D    some other specs are neck-thru and edge pro2 trem (floyd rose)

ibanez rocks  !!!!!!!!!!!!!

drop d is just one string, but its definatly handy.
