Jimmy Eat World "Just Tonight"... really the whole "Futures" and "Bleed American" albums. Also some Imogen Heap too, her 1st album stuff is kinda angry girl with a piano but her 2nd is a little more Alanis Morissette... if you guys even know what i'm talking about.

if she aint metal she aint real

Srsly though, I don't much care for her. I suppose she's okay as a solo artist, but I didn't like her Frou Frou stuff at all.

Yeah yeah i know, i'm used to the idea that no one else i know listens to things i like.

Or even how or when i like them! My ex could not believe how i could go from one band and style on my playlist (say Rammstein) right into another (say New Found Glory or Blink 182) then a Techno song (Crystal Method) then (Bush) then (MaSu) (MaSu) (MaSu) (MaSu) etc... Rock, sweet vocals, techno, metal, punk-lite, pop, alternative, grunge whatever i feel like that moment...  i think she called my playlist A.D.D. lol

*listening to Veruca Salt “Born Entertainer”* that song rocks.. next maybe some Lifeforce.

Yeah, she should have a look at my last.fm. I mean, on the chart right now is Slumber Party (jangly pop), Porn Sword Tobacco (ambient electronica), Afrirampo (Japanese noise/psych rock), Mono (Japanese post-rock that really doesn't fit into the category), and Slint (math rock).

Taking into the account that I can go from Pink Floyd to Naked City to Machsup to the Crystal Method... we should be brothers in arms u.u

Very nice, very diverse. But is the world ready for us to unleash our playlists on the unsuspecting masses? heh, anyway i've pretty much stuck to bands who broke out in the US in the mid 90s. Before then i was listening to my dads CDs. Pink Floyd, Eagles etc all good stuff but not truly my own.

Oh but the thing that really confused my ex was that other days i would have one and only one song on repeat for the entire day.. man i think she really hated those days.

Anyway, if i may digress a moment and praise MaSu... For the most part i need singing in a song or i get bored with the music no matter how good it is. However since finding MaSu a few years ago that has changed somewhat. Their music was so awesome that i didnt NEED a singer and as much as i adore robert's singing i wish i had an instrumental version of every song for those times when i grow tired of words. I now actually listen to game music when im not playing the game and a bunch of techno and trance and ambient web radio stations through XBMC on my x-box. now that i think about it, MaSu has actually made me enjoy music as a whole, more then i ever had before.

Kyau VS. Albert - Save Me

Lacuna Coil are way awesome. I recommend them ^_^
That's good enough for me! Besides I'm getting the entire Internet and anything my budget can handle so why the hell not.  Heh.
If you like them I would also recommend:
Sirenia
Theatre of Tragedy (Self titled, Velvet Darkness They Fear and Aegis (the albums after that are poppy dance poop and not metal))
The Sins of Thy Beloved
Tristania
How Like a Winter
Leaves' Eyes
Stream of Passion
Myriads
Within Temptation
Edenbridge
Epica
Seraphim
Sinergy

Seraphim is the only band I've actually heard of in that list. And I've only heard the name, not their music. And I might actually be confusing it with something else.

Well you heard of them now. :p

http://www.metal-archives.com/ and http://www.metalstorm.ee are a probably good place to find out about bands that you may like. Metal-archives has info on all those bands (all metal, ever, if it is 'true metal', they delete any other bands), metalstorm probably has most (not all bands ever, not anywhere close).

I'd say it falls under the wide umbrella of Abba covers if I'm unmistaken.
