Now listening to: The Lost Prophets - We Still Kill The Old Way.

Those 3 are all uberleet. I just recently discovered Nightwish thanks to an Estonian girl who I became friends with online over musical interests. They sound like Evanescence in some ways but better in some ways too IMO.

Yeah, espically 30 Seconds to Mars, they truely are awesome, not many people have heard of them either.

Ghost-MaSu

Heh, I remember actually failing a class at College when the first 30 Seconds To Mars album had just been released 'cuz I spent all my time listening to that album. No joke. Music can be pretty f***ing addictive, and I don't mean in a good way.

Myriads - Introspection: gothic metal

I can't believe you compared Nightwish to Evanescence. They are in no way alike other than they both have a female vocalist. Evanescence would be far closer to Lacuna Coil, but still fairly far off.

I'm not comparing. I know they're not like Evanescence a whole lot but for some reason (other than that they both have female vocalists  ::) ) Nightwish reminded me of them a bit. They definitely kick a lotta ass though. In fact I feel like listening to some "Nemo" or something equally as kick-ass right now....

B.T.W. I've never heard Lacuna Coil.... Are they any good?

Dream Theater - Space Dye Vest [07:29]

By degrees we beheld the infinite abyss, fiery as the smoke of a burning city;
Beneath us, at an immense distance, was the sun, black but shining.

The Sins of Thy Beloved
Tristania
How Like a Winter
Leaves' Eyes
Stream of Passion
Myriads
Within Temptation
Edenbridge
Epica
Seraphim
Sinergy

The Apparitions - As This Is Futuristic (album)

I donno about its appeal to the metalheads here, but I rather enjoy it.
