World's End Girlfriend - Dream's End Come True

Amazing Japanese post-rock. It's what you'd get if Mrs Mono and Mr 65daysofstatic had a child, which took more after Mono than 65.

I'm a huge Rammstein fan, but I didn't like Rosenrot at all. It's not an album, its just a collection of songs.

Right now I'm not really listening to anything. Still waiting for my DespairsRay CD to get here but other than that I'm pretty stumped :(

Noumena - Absence: Melodic death metal with female vocals accompanying the male death grunts. Awesome stuff.

Aeternitas - Requiem: Gothic/symphonic metal with the lyrics in latin. Three people doing vocals, death grunts, clean and some nice female vocals.

Via Mistica - Fallen Angels: Gothic metal.
The Wake - Death-A-Holic: Melodic death.

No linkies, metal-archives is down, again.  :'(

Act of God: It is like a brutal version of Nightwish. Basically strip out anything remotely power and throw in a bunch of death and some more death. Symphonic Death is a first for me. Interesting and worth a listen for sure.

Asgaroth - Trapped in the Depths of Eve: Symphonic Black
Cryptic Wintermoon -  Of Shadows ...and the Dark Things you Fear: Melodic black.
Seraphim - The Soul That Never Dies: Power metal with female vocals. From Taiwan, not exactly a country that comes to mind when you think metal.

Noumena had a gig in my city but I didn't have change to see it because I was somewhere else. :( Otherwise I would have checked it out.

np: Kreator - Enemy of God :I

Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid rain
a pretty heavy and fast song performed by a side-project band of Dream Theater (outstanding), it´s kind of the one-step-further progressive rock

Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid rain

Easily the best Liquid Tension Experiment song, which is a shame really.

Anyway, for anyone interested In Flames' new album, Come Clarity, leaked today.

NOthing much new,

Been listening to the Coheed and Cambria album and it really taken a hold of me. The one thing I like about it is that it plays more like a book, a story being told more then anything, akin to something Symphony X would make. Great stuff. I am/was thinking about purchasing their album but sony is evil with their root kit and crap, might have to sit out on this one.
