Damnit, I can't afford that until payday, I have to buy the new Blind Guardian CD before, since they play live in Stockholm one day before payday...

Voyager - Element V
Symphonic. Awesome. There is like this second at the start of one of the songs where one of the sounds almost seemed SID like too.  :P

Aes Dana - Discography
Black/Folk. While pretty good I just couldn't get into it.

just a suggestion, but this may make this thread slightly more interesting.

1.  someone posts a song
2. the next person who posts has to listen to that song, rate it(scale out of 10), comment if they so please, and then put their own song.

maybe a new thread would be called for if people are up fori t?

That was already suggested somewhere around uhhh.. pages 1 to 100.

It didnt work, people were too lazy to download the songs.

listening to Joe Satriani's discography.

I tried that once, you all shat on it and abandoned the thread.

No, actually, my topic was about free music and I made the topic very confusing. It ended up being a list of thousands of free bands which is too much for anyone to ever want to touch. I am all for this idea.

Persefone - Core
Symphonic/Melodic Death. Absolutely awesome. All of three songs, each one is roughly 23 minutes long.

Ikuinen Kaamos - The Forlorn
Progressive Death/Black. Good, but nothing spectacular.

Dark At Dawn - Dark At Dawn
Power. Again, good but nothing spectacular.

Heol Telwen - An Deiz Ruz
Black/Folk. I dunno, its pretty much like Aes Dana. I'm not finding it too interesting.

Wizards' Hymn - Hymnal
Power. Japanese band, japanese female vocalist, english lyrics, power metal. As you can imagine, it sounds bad.

Bran Barr - Les Chroniques De Naerg
Black/Folk. Again, like Heol Telwen and Aes Dana. If they didn't say who the artist was, I'd think it was the same band. Meh.

Fairyland - The Fall of an Empire
Power. The most metal band name, ever, period. Actually very good, I quite like the female vocals in addition to the male vocalist.

Machinae Supremacy - Redeemer

About fucking time dammit! It came yesterday and I'm loving it. Reanimator is like someone fucked me and then gave me a bagillion pounds, and Empire is like... woah Chad, s'up? *unf*

good stuff.

Final Fantasy 6 OST - Terra/Tina

One of the most beautiful pieces of video game music ever. I saw a snippet of Play! A Video Game Symphony plus an interview with Nobuo Uematsu on the Swedish TV show Musikministeriet (all Swedes must watch), so I just had to dust off my old CDs.

* Cerapter applauds

Myself, I've always preferred the Overworld theme version of it. But then again, shamefully, I don't think I have all of the OST tracks.
