Lake of Tears - The Homecoming
I really loved this song from the moment I first heard it, makes me feel all calm and relaxed, like the most calm songs of LoT do, I really like em and hope they will make some new songs soon
and btw if anyone cares, the avatar im using at the moment makes me really think of visual LoT song or something, been using this picture for ages :O

Only Lake of Tears song I've ever heard is Raistlin and the Rose; is the rest of their stuff that kinda thing?

Well, their style has changed ALOT from the first albums. I gotta say that the first album is horrible, its mostly the same tunes, but the newer songs have matured to be great songs. But The Homecoming is in my opinion nothing like Raistlin and the Rose. Some of their songs are like Raistlin and the Rose, which is like rock rock rock, and the others are like rock rock rock melodically.

If you wanna hear more of them, I would say that Forever Autumn is really good album. It has rock rock music and rock rock melodic but still relaxing

Now im rambling pointlessly again, I'll just go rest my temper away.

Well The Soulforged by Blind Guardian is OK too, alhough I'm not a great fan of their style. And I'm a Raistlin fangirl, bite me.

Cellador - Enter Deception
Power. I can't believe its not Edguy! Seriously, the vocalist sounds exactly the same. Infact, it basically all sounds the same as Edgy except the drums.

Obviously Mr Jammin', our musical tastes are quite similar. I really LOVE Deadsoul Tribe. And yeah, Adel Moustafa's drumming is quick to draw comparaisons to tool. However, in my opinion, it's like Tool, except it's less experimental, the melodies are catchier, and there's flute! It's probably the fastest climbing band in my last.fm profile. Of course, it would climb faster if I could make the scrobbling work at the office, where I listen to most of my music.

Currently, I'm listening to Kamelot - The Fourth Legacy, trying to figure out if it's worth 25$ to go see the band here in September.

I assure you they are, Kamelot rocks face, hard!

I'm listening to the most generic metal band ever! MANOWAR
As for the song it doesn't matter, their all the same really...I think its Battle Hymns, or Fight Until we Die....could be Carry On or Warriors of the World United...Its all a blur really.

I saw Manowar live last year with Rhapsody. The whole concert was pretty disappointing, Rhapsody's new album is sub-par, and completely fails in a live setting. Somehow, they made a live CD/DVD out of the show, still. But the song selection was slightly disappointing. And Manowar failed to impress with average compositions and goofy solos. And it was also painfully loud. I mean, the only time during the show where the sound was bearable was when I went to the bathroom.

Add to this the fact that the show cost more than either Iron Maiden, or the Gigantour, and you have a disappointed customer.

As I just came back to the office, with my Kamelot CD still in the player, well, it's what I'm listening to.

Just because they play their music louder doesnt mean it gets better.
