I'm kinda embarrassed to even think of showing off what i've done, i mean iikori! Holy fuck dude! H man you sound like a pro! I'm lovin Chemical Reaction. Everybody elses music i could download was also just awesome.

.ogg, right click to download

I haven't made any music since sonic foundry ACID 2.0 and even then i was lucky to make crap. Anyway a few days ago i wanted to have a look inside Bouff.XM and Smooth.XM so i downloaded MadTracker 2 and started messing around with some free VSTs last night and by morning i had something to show for it. It's still a work in progress, just 7 seconds looped while dropping out an instrument every so often. It's really just a test song to see if i could to make something that sounds halfway decent, so any suggestions are welcome. Go easy though. :)

So, do all of you have actual recording equipment? Should I invest in some?
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

Cubase System 4. It's worth it.

btw: Niccho, your songs are great. Good composition, and the synths sound great, but you need a drum sampler instead of that crusty VST drum kit, and you really need to invest in better recording equipment, because your distortion guitar, frankly, sounds like shit.

drum samples are machinae samples and DFH and i know that the guitar sounds like shit, but i just cant do better without amp and amp costs money. i should prolly change strings for my guitar also they are like 6+months old, but i just dont have the money for it. i will prolly make remakes of all the good songs when i get the money for amp.

True, amps do cost a bit of money.

Tone, however...not necessarily true. As long as you have some sort of digital effects processor (which costs around $200 - $300), such as a Line6 Pod or a Johnson J-station, you can have an ass kicking tone without actually having an amp. (amp for $900 + amp head for $800 x_x)

yes line6 pod would be cool but also costs way too much for my budget. and i have a very cheap multi effects processor (zoom 606) which is quite a shit without an amp

SUE!

There's a band with the name "Scars of Life" already.  :P

They suck, BTW.

Isn't it kind of 1337?  ;D
