Hehe, thx again.
And... no problem at all, questions are always welcome. There is a lot of QuadraSID there, but I also used Magical 8bit Plug for NES-sounds (Zelda theme for instance). Other than that there is Collossus, Drumkit from hell and Nexus.

Waddaya think?

That, my good sir, is fucking EPIC!
It is, really. :)
We're open to such things, we've even talked many times about doing it with Inja, but in a way that's redundant because we can already get Erica

Some heavy SID stuff:

=)
That was pretty good =) I liked how the entire song is carried out solely by SID. (although I still love Mirrorworld much much more XD)

Sorry if comments are sounding redundant, really, but that WAS epic. I kinda tried it a bit myself, as in remixing old melodies and making a Sidology-like song...failed >>; But this song shows what happens when people don't. Really good job.

So much that I have to quote something from you to ask this: "Foar a lot better quality downloads u can has"

...please o_o

Thaaank youuu \o/
I suppose you mean as a an mp3 file? Y/N?
Hmm, I have'nt recorded a version where the guitars are really tight. I'll try to do it today I guess, there was another guy also wanting the song in good quality.
It may seem silly but I'd like the mp3 version to be a bit tighter hehe ^^'.

Y!

btw, about the tighter sound, eh. After that medley (plus I listened to Face To Face from the Iji soundtrack again too) I'm not gonna think that your suggestion to your own song would make it sound odd, but probably make it better  :)

I guess I'll just be constantly watching this thread if you decide to let a link float around. XD

I made a little orchestral piece using Miroslav Philharmonik orchestral samples (it also has some guitars): Blackout

Damn, that's awesome  :)

I especially loved it when after the buildup of the piano and orchestra, the orchestra went all out with the guitars. To be specific, I really like the way the strings were used.

Thanks  :)

I usually dont use piano cause it doesn't sound very dynamic unless you really play it, but this song really required it though..

I made another edit with a bit different settings. Sounds more powerful and realistic at times imo.

I't can be downloaded here

Well, I'll have to agree and disagree this time about that ^^;

Listening carefully to both versions, you made the strings much louder and noticeable in the second one (as you said it, powerful and realistic is correct  :) ). Although, I kinda loved how they were so subtle yet "there" in the first version. But that's just me I guess, they're both the same great song anyway. =)

Yeah i personally prefer the second one. Has kind of a Clint Mansell + Kronos Quartet feel to it (the strings). Sounds more simplistic perhaps?

Probably. But after even more listening, now I can't tell which version is better anymore, since I love the simplicity of the first and the power of the second XD

Oh, and I've been wanting to submit new material here...

From MIDI composing, I finally tried out real DAWs using my favorite instrument setup (2 leads, 1 rhythm, 1 bass and a whole lot of extra instruments) instead of an orchestra, and by that I mean my very last submission here called Orchestra JNG.

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/224814

I started off with revising one of my very first MIDI creations into VST. The panning and EQ's aren't perfect but that's why I'm posting it here for suggestions  :)

(side note: that song uses only VST/Soundfonts/samples...if only I had my own electric and knew more about playing it ^^;)
