http://www.2shared.com/file/3422849/42fbd05f/Pain_Sensor_Overload.html

My latest composition. I'm releasing all my music under the name Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia, because it's easier to forget than Cherko. I'm also putting up a Myspace soon. Well, I've already put up one, but it kinda sucks (http://www.myspace.com/hexanoise)

Hexakosioihexekontahexap...omg.

How about, like... Commenting on the song?

Absolutley!

Some really moody stuff you made there. Strange and original, i like it.

It's far from finished. I'm extending it, and giving it a more fitting title than Pain Sensor Overload (it's a good title, it just doesn't fit this particular song, especially not the sample used)

incredibly repetitive, but sounds like the soundtrack to some sort of spacey FPS.

Agreed but i think that degree of repetition was probably your intention. Though if anything i think it makes nice work for what almost feels like avant garde at times at least in scramble, the reversed sound byte further in to the first song would be mixed down a bit, but it's always a classic effect to have that type of sound in, liked that.

It's been a long time since I didn't started something "serious". Switching from pc to mac didn't help, since Open MPT of course doesn't work on Mac and other trackers are boring me. Protools is a wonderful recorder, not a Music program, Cubase... is Cubase, so it sucks like hell for my tastes (also it's kinda cool sometimes), so... I gave a try to Logic, although I don't know how to use it (and will have lessons about it only next year).
So...

This is short, but those riffs are in my mind for so much time that the song will of course be finished.

So! A new possible Dysrupter tune is being hammered out.

Dysrupter? - "Shadows Of The War" [working title, subject to change]

Down picked, hammer-to-the-face riffage, with a twinge of tribal drumming in a few spots. And of course, the speed factor halfway through. ;D

I really like what we have so far. Is not bad, no?

EDIT: Gazus, I've been tryin to download your new stuff since I posted last night, & for some reason it's not letting me. :(

Yet another amazing song, you are my hero likfisken.

Can i ask what that instrument patch is behind the synth melody (not tha arp's section) almost sounds like pizzicato strings, or something./

Ah, thats actually also a arp. From the VST plug Nexus. The sound is called York Minutes.
Feels a bit like cheating to use premade arps, gotta start making my own.

Nexus is btw a really kick ass plugin.

Oh, to anyone who download and listen. I just realized how much i had boosted the track with EQ and limiters and shit, so it'll sound like crap if you add any EQ in yo media player.

Don't judge us from that recording  ;).
We where visiting a studio for 2 days. Just for fun, It was a music teacher at the local music school who gave us some free hours of studio time a couple of months ago... Nothing serious. Most recording was made on first take.

We have all played instruments for several years, but no one has sung for very long. He has improved a lot since we recorded that shit and I'm pretty shure he's gonna be a kick ass singer one day, hehe.

We are btw in these days recording our songs our way (DIY). So there will be some fresh sounding new music when we are done.

actually, i was making my judgement based on the live videos i've seen of you guys on youtube. [:
i'm not saying he's a BAD singer, not at all. i'm sure he'll be awesome in a year or so!
