Nope, I still have to use the headphones. :P
I'm waiting for buying a m-box with Protools, and monitoring headphones.
Then composing will be easier. :)

Because I was lazy.
More seriously, I could, but when I sit down in front of the pc, saying to me "ok, NOW you will make something of these kickass guitars", it doesn't come. (I agree I don't force myself enough, but well, I don't like being forced)
Maybe the "instant thing" misses : "I would see another melody there" or anything, like that. Having to deal with differents sequences you can't realy modify yourself, plus the distance with the guy that made them. Those are handicap which can be very interesting to motivate the inspiration or the will to go through all thoses difficulties.
That could be an interesting discussion/debat ("how handicap acts on your artistic inspiration/motivation ?") but I deflect from the subject.

The two main reason are :
- nothing comes to my mind
- I'm not satisfied with what I made
:/
(but I promise the coop will come. Oh yes, one day it will come)

Sounds cool! a bit slayer ish with a twist of metallica i hear

Good ears. Early influence (metallica) mixed with some newer/later influence (slayer). They say "good music is hiding your influences", but apparently I've failed at hiding them. So this must not be good ;D

Killer track, H !

Thanks, Gazus!

A short piece started about two hours ago.

Too bad my pc started to be slower so soon, it'll be hard to finish it, now. :(
But it's an interesting base for something to do with a band (as soon as I've found one).
I had fun adding some stupid details, as a record of a too much delayed guitar which was finaly used for a transition, some orchestral thingies, etc etc.
Nice to compose music again. :)

Indeed it is. This sounds awsome. It's like a buildup song. You know, like a song just before a song starts. Sort of like Kreator's "The Patriarch" + "Violent Revolution", or Judas Priest's "The Hellion" + "Electric Eye". You can have one without the other, but it sounds much more awsome when both are played.

So, get to writing the second song already ;D j/k j/k

AW FUCK IT!

Tracking is hard, I can only do some half-arsed arpeggios. >_<

Oh well, I have uploaded my artwork, "Milky Arpeggios", to my MySpace. >_>

It's pretty bad, I know, but oh well. :)

Hey Milky Arps sound cool on their own. Could easily build on them down the road :)

Liking it, what did you use to make that milk arp track? I got a hold of quadraSID but i have moved back home so haven't been at my keyboard in england to  mess with it, is it that program? or something else?

Nope, it's not quadraSID, it's MilkyTracker (hence the name "Milky Arpeggios" xP), and, well, it's a tracking program derived from FastTracker2. :)

It's pretty good, and it has some video tutorial on it's site @ http://www.milkytracker.net/. ^_^
