Sounds awesome, i found a cool part where i could put an idea in.. care if i give it a try ;P

Go for it. ;D  I'd love to hear what you come up with :)

Here it is ;P

Interesting. I personally would have put something just a tad more shred-like right there, but what you recorded sounded like it would be cool for a vocal line :)

A song by me !

A pop-punk band I played guitar for in the summer. We've split up because we sucked, and there's very little pop-punk I like anyway. It's a shame though, towards the end we were writing 8-minute prog metal epics that were never heard.

www.purevolume.com/strongerthansuperman

We studio recorded one other song but I can't find a CD anywhere. If I can get hold of one I'll stick the other song on the purevolume page.

EDIT: Whilst I'm at it, here's some live footage of another band I was in, No Valentines. I played bass. We weren't very good (we were 15!). This was filmed at our last show, and we'd kicked out a guitarist the day before so we weren't really ready to play as a 3-piece.

I've been playing around with trackers and more recently sequencers since I was about 12 or so. I haven't really released much of my work since I do this mostly for myself though I have made some work for several game projects.

Here's a bit of trip-hop I made the other day: http://hirvi.dynalias.net/filebox/files/trpbiitti_prev2.mp3
Tell me what you think.
I try not to limit myself to certain genres since I like all kinds of music and it's always fun to try new things. My pieces aren't about catchy melodies or such. They're more about chord progressions and atmosphere. Enjoy.

Jonezky > realy sweet and relaxing piece of music.
I like this beat and those peaceful synths.
The bass is also delicious.
Nice work.

Sorry for double post.

Some kind of trancy thing, speed, unreal tournamentish, maybe.

Some metalish stuff. Got the riff in the head for a month or something like that.

[begin critique]

Holy crap, Gazus. That unreal-ish track sounds insane. I love the mood is sets with the background noises, all while rushing you around, as if you were actually in a gunfight to the death :)

MOAR PLZ. ^_^

Now, the metal riff sounds cool too. I love the off-timeness of it. Heavy stuff indeed \m/

[end critique]

Now, for some of my stuff :D

First of all, you all know that song "Craig Christ" by Stephen Lynch, right? Of course you do ;P

In a fit of insomina, I went ahead & recorded a cover of this song. But, I ditched the accoustic, brought out the drum track & the Warlock, & I upped the heavy metal of it =P. Until I can get around to recording the lyrics over this, you really have to use your imagination & sing the lyrics over this yourself XD

Click on "Craig Christ" to listen.

It's not much, but I had fun recording it regardless ;D

Gazus:

Emptyness Of Soul = nice n ambient. Interesting piano work. :) Creepy background noises. I love it. Guitar stuff kicks in halfway through. Noice ;D.

GA BU ZO ME = Er....Donald Duck on crack? o_O;; Oop nevermind, that's LSD XD.

Neat :P

Not sure if this should go in the YouTube thread or not, but it concerns me playing guitar.

Actually, 2 guitars. At the same time.

Iced Earth - "The Reckoning" (Twincover)

Sony Vegas = win for video editing.

So yea, new cover video. Check it out :)

EDIT: I guess no comments is better than negative comments ^_^;;

Iced Earth - "1776" (Twincover)

Some important things to note about this song:

- I'm standing up. :P
- I'm headbanging. \m/
- There are up to 4 guitars going on at the same time at certain point.
- I'm playing some solos (gasp!).
- I'm using my LTD Ex-50, not my B.C. Rich Warlock.

So yea. Interesting video. I hope you enjoy it. :)

That's pretty amazing stuff, man. ;D

[EDITH]
Made this one for fun.
Click me
Speed-made cover from Indochine's song Glory Hole. Sounds better in live, with a lot of distortion (three guitarists in the original live version).
Mmmmh... Need to cover this one with my band. As soon as the bassist will have... a bass. :P

[RE-Edith]
Little rock/something like that, don't know

Haha Gazus, that second song you posted sounds like a Video Game opening theme almost ;D Very cool!

And, thanks for the nod on the video covers. Glad at least someone else likes it!  LoL
