Wow this thread has been laying low for some while ...

So lets wake it up with a new tune from me !!

Radicz0r - Defying God

Props to magicman for uploading it :)

EDIT intro is messed up ima fix it tomorrow hopefully

Sounds like boss music. (:
Just at 0:20, when the tone of the melody goes up. i think the guitar in the background should've risen. Otherwise they don't go too well together. Same again later on when you did it for a second time.
Seriously nice track though, your stuffs getting better (I'm gonna need some FL advice from you at some point)!

I smell Slip Scale and Short Fuse. I like how you used them here though.

Some live guitars to replace the soundfont ones would be pretty sweet.

Good work.
I am going to do that sometime.. just put in a solo or a riff of myself... problem is, i have to make the track first and then figure out a suitable riff later..

And and you smelled right :)  I normally don't use them, but they fit in here well..

There is also a lot of melodies i created myself so yeah :)

I first did rise the guitar, but it sounded not as cool as it is now, i i figured i'll put it in like this. I think it sounds good together, actually. The parts is sort of meant so sound like that, such as problems ahead or sth.

I always think about random stories with the music, this one's meant like the title, defying god, so then in comes the Saint holy part at 0:54
and after some time all hell breaks loose :) but yeah, if you think its about a bear chasing a pot of huney thats cool too ...

Wow. Heavy stuff there, Rad :D. Me likes a lot. Can't wait to hear what that sounds like when you add the real guitars :)

All of this music involving SiD....dammit, I want to try my hand at it.

So, here's a quick :25 second clip of something I was messing with in FruityLoops.

Note: this is not a complete song. This is me futzing around in a different genre of music I am used to o_o

The Dance of the SiD

If people like it enough, I may expand on it to a full song at some point :)

What do you think? Something to work on, or should I stick to guitar? ^_^;;;;

In a word... expand. :-)
I reckon that could work as a main riff quite well given a decent build up and maybe an extra layer to fill it out a bit, but yeah... kewl, finish it man...  8)

Did you use Sid-like or just arps ?

Anyway, sound cool, like a dance thingy... but all in all you're better at guitar.

ive got a copy of FL6 but never really bothered with it - quite happy with reason...
Is there anything about FL that precedes reason or is worth checking out?
Also, does it support ReWire?

Rads probably told you, but there are two SID patches with it, in the file>>templates>>patch bank template.
