Healer has a sort of weird gumshoe-jazz groove to it.

What I've been working on:


My cover of Megadeth's "Hangar 18"
My cover of Iron Maiden's "Futureal"

Hangar 18 = my favorite Megadeth song, alongside "Tornado of Souls". I had to properly cover it now that I had a little extra time, seeing as my last cover attempt was something very quickly thrown together. >_>;;;

Futureal, on the other hand, was covered specifically to be used in a fan-made tribute to Iron Maiden. And because of this fact, I pushed myself farther, playing-wise. (ie. zomg watch out solo included).

I really really really like the way these came out, & I hope that you all enjoy them too :)

Yes, that's really weird. I converted one of my old classmates to Machinae, though, but he has refused to join these forums.

And the reason the solos are missing? Marty Friedman is a monster guitar player, & I do not believe my current skill level would allow me to easily emulate him.

So Marty = reason there are no solos yet :P

Nice tune, it's like a remix of some random action platformer on NES. Altough, it could have some catchy uplifting melody part where all the hell brokes loose and the hero is charging his weapon for the last battle. Right now it's just a short loop. So all it really needs is a heroic power metal part, where the volume is pumped to the max. ;)

I apologize if some of my musical terms are unprofessional since I don't know much of musical terms in english.

Haha nah it's all good bro ;D I was actually thinking about mashing something else with it to make it more interesting, but I wasn't sure what.

I'll probably re-visit this fairly soon after I decide what else I want to add to it.

...then again, I have been saying that about a lot of the music I have been writing, too ;;__;;
