It was made in FL Studio 6 with these VST instruments:
Drums - Ravity
Bass - Fruity's BooBass
Synth - Superwave performer

Why?

catchy little tune :-) I like the drum fills too...
Really got have a play with FL6 at some point, but i was put off itby a really early version that i used to have when FL first came on the scene... didnt really like it at all... Will give it a 2nd chance tho since so many of u lot seem to praise it.. :)

I like Reason more than FL Studio, but Reason is a closed system, it can't have new instruments... My favourite is Nuendo, but FL is better for writing songs without a MIDI keyboard. Of course, I have one, but this song was made without it.

I hate using the piano roll or anything like that for composing songs. It just seems...fake.

What about the mp3 you made a few posts back? Wasn't that a direct feed off your synth? Or was that just a typo? :)
Generally, what i do is play the melody in via the MIDI keyboard. If it sounds out of time or i played a wrong note I'd use the piano roll to alter a few note positions. But i rarely use it to compose from scratch, even if i could play it myself. Better sense of accomplishment knowing your song was played with your own fingers. ^^

You should. Gives you alot more freedom when you have ideas. You can just play 'em straight in and edit them so they sound (near enough) perfect. And with your music sounding as good as it does atm, it'd make things alot better. :)

Good news! I'm preparing a great song... I'm gonna sing there :D
It's a rewrite of a song from the times of totality, aka the Soviet union.

I've made a new tune once again. Some parts of the lead melody were produced while sleeping.

I'm not good playing solos or leads with guitar, but this song has few leads played by guitar and synth. I think it came out well. Try to enjoy.
