I would just like to say that you should really say "the best track from DXM," as using "off" makes you sound like someone who might also say "cinchy" and "You're not the boss of me!"

???

I don't see how that links up. I must say I've never used those terms in my life. What's does cinchy mean anyway?

As in the "least favorite" thread, I apologize.

"Cinchy" is what elementary schoolers here in America say instead of "easy." As in "I won him so fast! It was cinchy! Now let me go get my hi-tops off Joey!" A derivative of course of "cinch" as in "it's a cinch," which is again an idiom for something's being easy.

&c.

But yes, i am sorry for the unnecessary and counterproductive ad hominem attack.

Glad to see Killer Instinct getting some votes, I thought I was the only one!

Player One is the best song I've ever heard. So that is also the best song from Deus Ex Machinae.

Flagcarrier is also good. One of the best ballads, if it is a ballad. Well what else is it? Tell me?

Third best song is definetly Ninja. Lyrics are wonderful, melody is wonderful, everything is just wonderful.

Probably next best songs would be Dreadnaught, Killer Instinct and Deus Ex Machinae.

I voted Attack Music.. but then Player One gets close or is maybe better? Dunno.. When first listening to the album Ninja was one of my least favorites. Now I'd say it comes after those two.. Also Insidious is great. Too many great tracks  :P

It's really hard to decide, the entire album is superb :P I really would put Player One, Ninja and Attack Music on equal footing, but I'd probably have to give the edge to Player One, if only just. I actually like the web version of Attack Music a little better, for the intro sample ("In actual news, the human race was doomed to extinction today, as the robot revolt turned violent.") because I think it kinda ties in with the rest of the song really well... the perfect soundtrack to I, Robot ("Finally when they attack, they've always been here...") but I appreciate that it would be a little tricky on a copyright perspective to put a Futurama sample on a commercial album without paying huge amounts of money or getting sued. Still an absolutely amazing song though...

It is realy hard to decide. I listen to the fll album every day, and I love all the songs xD But I think Blind Dog Pride is the most complex and complete song. Machinae Prime is the last song, but BDP is a "final" song, you know, like a last boss battle song, with that lyrics, and the mood variation along the song. Beggining from the high-speed, sensible "I've seen the other side/the one world beyond our dog pride/somewhere outside is evolution, standing by" to the hard, angry parts like "i'm not afraid to see through the shroud of destiny". It's a song that talks about humanity getting lost in themselves, and someone trying to do things the right way, but "one in a million is just a drone". Man, it's awesome
