HAHAHA, man that's awesome. And I'm saying that mostly because I hate Harry Potter, yes...it's true.

Back to American Gods.

Yeah, good book. Good Omens was, IMO, better, but that's just because I love Pratchett. The nitpicker that I am, there were some small details that irritated me (mistakes in the norse mythology, mainly. Not that I can remember what it was now), but overall, it was very enjoyable.

I've never read Harry Potter. I've had several people insisting that I do, and almost fallen for the pressure, but I think I'll rather just wait and watch the movies. There are so many other books I'd rather finish (such as my recently aquired Complete, Illustrated Works of Edgar Allan Poe, or The Science of Discworld III, or Dracula, or Miltons Paradise Lost, or Stephen Jones Mammoth Book of best New Horror collections (now numbering at least 15 big volumes of short stories collected by Jones, each covering the best stories released over a period of a year - so far, I've read two of them), or some more of the books about Vlad Taltos, or the short story collection The Loved Dead (a Cthulhu Mythos book)). There's reading material for years to come...

I've finished Harry Potter.

The spoiler is true. Page 556 in the international Bloomsbury edition.

And the book should be called "Harry Potter and the unresolved sexual tension".

Hush you. I'm reading it right now, page 396 so far...

But yes, your right about the book title, lol. Its quite funny to read - at least he's not angsting every second like the last book.

EDIT: Finished it. It was really fucking good.

Well, yeah. Of course they are. That's a good thing.

A childrens book that depict horny little kids.

Sweet.

I'm not going to comment on the relation of horniness and killing people.

Yeah there was a few bits that kinda bothered me too. Like the whole thing with him basically getting dream-raped by a cat-goddess which had practically nothing to do with the plot.

What's the big deal with spoilers anyway? It's just a story.

I dont think I've ever had anything spoilered that really deterred from my enjoyment of it. Even fight club and the 6th sense.
