That's what my friends and I were speculating about endlessly while watching the MTV unveiling/stupid piece of crap show/special thingy about the 360.  Some of those videos looks way too damn good to be in-game.  Still, there's a good chance they could be that nice looking...  The hardware certainly looks like it's up to it.

the mtv thingy was totally crap. go here: http://games.kikizo.com/news/200505/101.asp and scroll to the bottom of the page to get a couple of videos which actually give you some decent information about the 360 hardware.
