I dont live in Boston area. But compared to the local (unsigned) bands where I live here, Machinae is much bigger. That's all i can say.

... who cares? They're as big as we make them, in our minds, and that's fucking huge.

Well, at least for me.

Machinae is bigger than any US band!......talent wise anyway.

Id imagine if they came to the US they wouldnt be that popular because they use more instruments than just bass.

Yeah, I notice that for some people it takes a bit for them to get into MaSu, or at least the people I've introduced the band too...

But of course, after a while, nobody can deny that it's great stuff

I doubt it, people. They've not even started touring much outside of Sweden, it seems. I'm hoping to get them to come to Trondheim, Norway, but that even seems difficult (mainly because those I try to book them at got an upper limit on band costs (for concerts with non-paying concert goers) slightly below what it would take to get MaSu here...(it's really the transport that does that, though))

Yeah it would be great to see over in England. I could get them into my mums hotel free (free food, and beds for all) as well as being able to perform in the function room (capable of holding 130 people i believe). Not like its going to happen, bit it would be fun :D

Well, i can give 25% discount on food, rooms, and beer for all "friends", aka "fans" :D
Theres only 40-odd rooms though. I could put about 5 up in the flat though, and shove 2 in my houses spare room. That should push us up to 50 lol. umm then maybe another 20 could sleep in the bar area on the couches and then maybe 50 or so on the function room floor :P

40 rooms? I think they should be able to hold at least 3 people, they can rotate who stays on the floor...
