Looking good my friend!
And no, i do not wish to duel
Let me get some arena pieces then i might, but for now its PVE all the way babeh!
Hehe thanks. Unfortunately, even with all that gear the arena is still very limited for me. Hunters only have synergy with certain classes (2v2 our synergy is with a priest, we can make wicked mana burn teams. Warlocks if specced properly (Demonology/Destruction for survivability and burst) can work okay too since we can burst down most targets through almost any type of healer).
Unfortunately, my girlfriends main 70 (who is geared as equally as my character) is a Frost Mage and our synergy in 2v2 is very low. I do pretty good in our 5v5 though. We had a warlock in our 2v2 and cracked 2100 with him, but he left WoW. We're about to crack back open 2k though with a Shadow Priest, unfortunately for me though the Shadow Priest and the Frost Mage honestly seem to have a bigger advantage over most teams than me as a hunter and the shadow priest have (though any warrior team we'll tear down in seconds, we absolutely destroy warrior/paladin, warrior/resto druid, etc. Unfortunately warlock/spriest and warlock/rogue can be tricky for us - it's always close, but thanks to sl/dl/sl spec and healthstones they have a pretty good chance of coming out on top just barely. Now with 2.3 coming, however, the buffs to hunter may make me reconsider calling him my "alt" over my new warlock I'm growing. I'll be a major asset to our 5v5 team over just burst and CC/healer disruption having mortal shot on aim shot & arcane dispel. My viability with my frost mage partner will also increase since the minimum range is being lowered, making it far more difficult to LOS kite a hunter around pillars and giving me more room to shoot in a limited space arena. Not to mention the dispel helping disrupt priests and mages. Aimed shot can also begotton off in 2v2 with a frost mage if its critical, its not worth the effort right now though - but in 2.3, it would be.
We'll see how that goes, I spose. But I'm excited about that patch.
