toon

i dont get why people say that word. its almost as bad as saying outlands.
or worse, "my toon has just reached outlands". *facepalm*

I finally dinged 70 last night. A few friends helped me take down a Fel Reaver in Hellfire Peninsula - hurray for dinging in style!
I took a screenshot of this epic moment (my first level 70 :D), and I thought I would share it with you.

you have as much health as me, and im a holy priest :S

Congratulations!

So, which way are you going to swing? Raider or PvPer? :)

Thanks :)

Well, I dunno really.. My guild is not that hardcore on the raiding front, still doing Kara atm, but I guess I will just fall into that kinda "casual" raiding combined with a bit of random Arena stuff.

* StickyLizard pokes his Armory profile

http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Lightbringer&n=Nizilia

You will see that I wear two pieces of mail armor, the rest is plate.
Most cloth healing gear has spirit instead of mp5, which makes it much less useful for a healing paladin as myself, since we have no "mana regen while casting" talent. Also, I like to be able to take a few hits without going down ^^

try wearing cloth and healing. the second i get aggro, unless the tank knows how to play, its game over. considering how elites hit for around 1k, and my shield absorbs little over that..

Well, since they've fixed so that there actually are a lot of good plate healing items in TBC, this is not really a problem. It was worse pre TBC, where there were almost no plate healing stuff that weren't set pieces. It always felt like a stab in the heart when a paladin nicked a leather healing item.

So, I just started an arena team with a rogue, and I must say it is pretty cool. None of us have ever played in the arenas before and our gear is mediocre at best, and yet we end up with 11 wins and 15 losses for our first session of arena-ness. Most of the losses involved warlocks with full or partial arena gear... Was really fun though, and we're definately gonna keep on doing this stuff.

That made me laugh ^_^

Also, I just went to Shadow Labyrinth and the [Breastplate of Many Graces] dropped for me. That made me a happy holy paladin.

I'm currently working on my warlock with a confusingly simular name, Draxis. :P
